I am a mathematical biologist focusing on the application of probability and statistics to problems in the life sciences ranging from nanoscale cellular dynamics to large population epidemiology. Currently, I am an associate professor in the Department of Statistics at Penn State University, where I teach a variety of courses in applied stochastic processes and statistical inference, advise graduate students, and engage in interdisciplinary research with colleagues across the university.
